Solution: Through interviews and research, aspects of Murphy’s prior branding were preserved to keep that same local, family focused feel that is so important to their regular customers. Murphy’s updated branding keeps that retro feel. While introducing aspects that will strengthen their presence in the community, logos and take-out branding were updated to grab the attention of passersby.

The inclusion of a brand pattern helps create an additional recognizable asset that can be used throughout packaging, merch, and interior decoration. Murphy’s new pattern includes important information such as location, establishment date, hours, and their mascot. These details are a reminder of Murphy’s value in community, which will now be taken home with every take-out order.
